I like that phrase. I stumbled upon it when I was facebook stalking myself. I didn't remember posting it. Seeing my past posts, most which stirs up memories at different times of my life, you can actually somewhat see how you've changed as times change.

Somehow it's good. Journals and diary keeping are not for everyone. But phone messages, social networks, all these stuff that are so much integrated into our lives, actually makes a hell of a diary without you realising it.

Lately I've been doing plenty....evaluating. No not judging. I used to listen, don't get me wrong, I still do. Just not that empty minded listening any more.

And I don't care much as I did before. The significance of knowing what you love and pursuing them. That could never get stressed enough.

Enough straying.

I can't help but feel annoyed at Them.

Them who get frustrated when they can't understand what's going on when the ever so enthusiastic Chemistry lecturer of ours () were explaining how to do the tutorial questions. Only because Them didn't do it despite being given the questions weeks ago. Them are unhappy that he doesn't give out answers to the questions despite him giving the exact calculations with values on the board. Them does not like using calculators I guess.

Them who can't stop talking. Or as Mr Umar would describe, "constipated parrots", or "they whose wives just had a baby", or "just struck lottery" and so on. Personally, my favourite is when he said, "Those who are making noise can you please shut up." What I find even more amusing is when Mr Umar is describing a TalkingThem#1 as a constipated parrot, the other TalkingThems laughed, not realising that Mr Umar indirectly meant them as well.

I know I do. Anyone would.

Whenever I realise something isn't where I thought it was, I go crazy. Be it a comb, a key, a shirt, a ruler, a pen. I turn everything upside down. Seeing my frustration, my siblings would try to help. "Here, use my comb first,""You can use my pen,". But noooo. I wouldn't touch them. I'd go on and on overturning everything, getting crankier and crankier each item flipped, until I get to the end of it.

For those who don't know. We form 6-ers have to stay back every wednesday for sukan so that we don't die in our koko marks. We already had ping pong and badminton in the previous weeks.

Yesterday was bola jaring.

We didn't want it at first.

Up is seriously overrated. I mean like, wth weyy.

I guess i just expected too much of it since I read the reviews it received. Yes, touching, moving, funny, values bla bla bla. But still.. something is just missing. Review said it could compete with Wall-E. NOT IN A THOUSAND YEARS. Seriously. It's like peanuts next to Wall-E. I wouldn't even give it a 7.

What's more disappointing is that it's a Pixar production. Yes, I expected so much more. Perhaps too much. D:

Not only is the kid annoying, he's not even cute. C'mon, you want to make an annoying loud character, fine. At least make it cute to compensate for it's irritating-ness. Bleh.

And... yeah, predictable. Full of holes in the storyline.

You mean nobody noticed that the (loud, noisy, irritating, dumb, whiny, annoying, bugging, chatterbox) kid went missing?!?! Nah, can't be. I bet they're glad he's gone anyway that's why nobody bothered to search / report.

Example 3:

They make flying houses with zillions of balloons seem as if it's something that happens everyday. No news crew, no hellies flying after it, no big huhaa. Nothing.

Example 4:

The bad guy (bah i even forgot his name. boohoo.) said he'd lost so many dogs and it's oooh-a-very-dangerous-place-out-there at the rocks and he can't go in to catch those birdies.

Why is it dangerous? How is it dangerous? How'd the dogs die? Wtfwtf?

Example 5:

"My dad says he'll be there on the awarding of my last badge,"

Which... The father never appeared. And nobody knows why. And everyone expected the father to be there. Which didn't happen. But replaced by old man. Making people wonder where the hell the father is. But nobody knew why. Ended with old man spending the rest of his life with the kid.

It's a nice show I guess. Not spectacular. Just nice. As in aww-sho-shweet nice. Yep, 6.5.

Woots looky 2 consecutive blog posts after months of not updating!

What can i say? I'm feeling extra rajin today, so i might as well say what i want to say while i'm in the mood to update.

Well sorry ppl, i wish there were pictures but the camera died-ed. Would be more interesting if there were pics but i blog mainly to serve as a journal of my own so.. yeah. Who cares if its boring :p

The National Blood Bank people stopped by TDMC today! (Taman Desa Medical Centre for those who don't know) I manage to talk my sis Jamie into coming with me to donate blood. She wasn't filled with as much enthusiasm as i was tho. Lol i was really excited about it and all xD (Ask syn dee she knows it all) Deedee didnt come cuz she was scared of "scwawey biigg nweedols".

I would have went anyway even if i'm going alone. I mean it's one of those things we have to try at least ONCE in a lifetime. Bungee jumping, mountain climbing, watching a sunset/sunrise, backpacking, flashing? (LOL JK). You know what i mean.

So anyway, I woke up around 10.20am, woke my sis up, got dressed blah blah blah *fasts forward* ....rice and egg for breakfast and we're ready to go.

Went to the 1st floor where they're having it. Gave us forms to fill up. After filling the forms my sis went to have her blood tested 1st. Lady took her blood and told her on the spot that she doesn't have enough iron. *Crowd boos in the background*

Then comes my turn. Lady punches a hole in my finger and used a dropper (remember the phenolphthalein dropper? something like that only tech-ier) to draw some little blood drops to test for antigens A and B. Then took a lil more to put in the machine to check for iron content. Relieved, I moved on~ :)

Lady / Interviewer (as they call it) checks my blood pressure and asks some questions. Did u have any sickness/flu in the past week? Operations last time? Multiple sex/gay partners? Breakfast? Right. Mooving on.

Forgot what the next lady did. Just remember i can barely hear what she was saying. Moving on.

Maximum blood a person could donate is 480ml depending on individuals. Me only donated 350ml, alasannya I blood pressure low. Lul.

So anyway, it was THE moment. Sat on the chair thing. Lady injected some yellowish liquid. Then comes the big scary needle. Seeing that needle, only then did i understand how ppl could be afraid of needles. For those with a faint heart, i seriously suggest u look away when they poke u with it xD

Sits there relatively patiently while blood is drained. Hmm.. what else lol. Can't think of anything to say about it. Whatever moving on, lady comes over to remove the thingy, pressed a large cotton ball (oo cotton balls!) onto the spot where the needle was and told me to press on it. Rested about 10 mins on the bed chair then was told that i can leave already.

When leaving the room, Vanitha, the lady in charge gave me a goodie bag! ( Whee free stuff! *hearts*) It contained a bottle of dettol, tissue, Johhnsons product and a medicated shower creme.

Again, whee free stuff!

She also gave us a cup o milo, packet of cookies, bread and a sijil (LOL). Sijil. /Swt.

Yeah so thats about it. :) May sound boring but i had fun~ Vanitha said she organizes this blood drive every three months so i'll be going again in 3 months. Wheee~~

If u asked me this question a few months ago when form 6 1st started, like the 1st 2 months? I'd have told u it's actually kinda fun xD I mean, seriously it WAS. *Note: Was* Getting to know new ppl and stuff.. Our 1st event was Hari Guru, had some sorta little drama. *ahem* Doesn't involve me of course (since i'm such an angel~ see mah halo? 8D hahahh..)
So yeah, it was much fun~ We went karaoke-ing, not much homework to do, hang outs n stuff. The fun pretty much died-ed when exam came about, homework starts piling up, teacher telling us we have to say back till 4pm everyday, some stupid person's new big idea of implementing some bloody new system, we needing to do presentation and assignments. I mean like wth weyy seriously.

1. How's Australia?
Australia was tonnes of fun! :D

2. What did you do there?
It's basically a stress free holiday. Went to Glenelg Beach, Rundle Mall, River Torrents, University Of Adelaide, Seahorse Farm, Botanic Gardens, National Wine Centre, Brickworths Market, Casino etc. Brain not able to recall places a month ago this hour of the day.

Also rented DVD's, followed Australia's So You Think You Can Dance, Biggest Loser Couple & Ready, Steady, Cook pretty closely.

At the casino as I've told some people, I've used 3$, won 3$ and then lost 3$. You do the math.

At the Seahorse Farm we weren't able to take any pics, but it was pretty cool seeing lil baby seahorses clinging on whatever they can cling onto.

We went to Rundle Mall several times. It's pretty much a street unlike a shopping complex I've expected. Shops, shops, shops. What can I say? Hmm.. I regret not taking pics with the steel balls in the middle where "tourists-always-take-pic-with-when-they-go-to-rundle-mall" quote sis.

For Australia's So You Think You Can Dance finale were 2 guys and 2 girls. We ( Sis, Sheam, & I) Refer to them as: Hand guy, Mouth guy, Gum girl & Cute girl. Guess who we're rooting for? :p Make a smart guess who won too.

Biggest Loser Australia was pretty cool too! :D Bob the weight loss machine loss like 57% of his original weight and won. Sis & Sheam thinks Peter Everett from Ready, Steady, Cook is gay.

We figured any hungry person out there might be successful in roasting a few ducks from the Botanic Gardens as those are REALLY brave ducks. While walking in the Botanic Gardens somehow we ended up in the National Wine Centre.

Well, Just additional info for myself basically in case I forget someday, I left for Perth April 6 with sis. Boarded a plane to Adelaide April 8. Both through Air Asia. Boarded Singapore Airlines alone home on the 4th of May. Would have took MAS if it were cheaper. Watched Twilight and Tale of Despereaux on SIA. The latter totally SUCKED. The food was great tho. Asked the lady for more food when I was bored and she brought me cookies! :D

Yesterday (or was it the day before?) I drove to tmn desa Maybank. (all on my own!)

I opened a bank account in Maybank. I told them I want to apply for a debit card and instead of the ugly black yellow atm card, I got this really pretty card! So tadaa~ It's both and atm and a debit card. ^^

I got bored while waiting in the bank so i sms-ed SD and Adrian : "Bored. Blah." and got respective replies! :D Thanks, it's been nice bugging u guys!

Do they honestly think the person they have a crush on will call them 10 minutes after they forwarded the message to the requirement of TWENTY people?

Having loads of fruit flies buzzing around your kitchen lately?

Having goosebumps looking at the number of those THINGS
crawling around your kitchen counter?

Losing your appetite after seeing those pesty things
buzzing around your lunch?

Worry no more! My dad have come to save the day! He's found a new and improved way to rid of them!

All you need is:

1 little container/Tupperware
Little fruit slices
1 freezer

And tadaa! You're now ready to bid goodbye to them.

Directions:

Put the fruit slices in the Tupperware.
Place the Tupperware at the most strategic place where those buzzers like hangin around.
Do not close the lid fully. Leave a gap small enough for them to crawl in.
Leave for half a day / overnight.
Close the lid fully and place the container into the freezer. They'll be D.E.D in a matter of minutes. ;)

There you go! 5 easy steps with dealing with those mutated *toot*ers. Have fun! xP

Hamsters in our house always have a way of escaping from their cages. It has always been a mystery how they do that. Never got the chance to catch it red handed.

We used to have a hamster named Flower. She like every other hamster have found a way to escape and end up back in the cage at the end of the day anyway. Too bad she wasn't as bright as she think she is.

It's Christmas people! Every Christmas we go out for a family dinner. Then off we go to various hotels to take pictures. This year wasn't any different but we went to Pavillion instead of "various hotels".

We dined at a Korean restaurant in Danau for dinner. It's called Seoul Korea right above Jalal Yusof.

Seven Deadly Scenes

I watched a play last Thursday. It's called the Seven Deadly Scenes. Aple's in it! :D

Basically they are 7 short scenes where each scene plays a sin. Starting in sequence from the lightest to the deadliest one of all.

I don't know how to describe it but just to summarize it, I truly enjoyed the show!

I like Greed and Envy, I didn't understand Sloth, Gluttony left me eww+what the.. , the script for Wrath was brilliant, Lust was really light but I guess it was a good opening wheras the deadliest sin Pride made an awesome ending. (:

That's the most u'll be getting from me! I just dropped my sis at the bus stop where she'll be leaving for Penang so if by any chance u wanna watch the play u can meet her in there. Haha.

Bro bought a forbidden fruit for Aple! :D

It's been almost a year now since I last cut my hair.

I guess it's one of the ups of being a girl. Monthly visits to the saloon, SO unnecessary. (That is, if ur not hanging on to a specific hairstyle). You don't cut it, and nobody notices. But to me, right now my hair is just out of shape.

*November 2007*

I walked past a mirror. Stared at my boring long hair which was just inches above my waist. I thought, what if I cut my hair?

Ever since then I've been thinking, to keep it, to cut it. One moment I've decided to cut it, the next I'm certain I will not. I go around the house moaning about it. I went kasturi and groan about it to hey herng.

Me : I feel like cutting my hair.

Other : Then cut it la.

Me : But I've been keeping it for so many years. Sayang.

Other : Then don't cut it lo.

I used "Other" because it consist of many people like my sisters, brother, and everyone else I've complained to. They didn't help at all.

One day my sister offered to take me to the saloon near her uni. There are 2 reasons.

She's heartbroken seeing me in such agonizing dilemma.
She fears for her sanity listening to me almost every few hours of the day.

I like the first reason. The second one's not bad, too. (:

But there I was with a new problem. I'm definitely cutting my hair. But how long?

*Cuts the parts where I go around bugging people with my new problem*

So in the end I've decided to cut mid length. If I'm not satisfied with it, "then cut it la".

*December 2007*

So my sis brought me to the saloon and I cut my hair to mid length and I decided I did not like it a few days later and so I cut it short. The end? Yes but I'd still like to share a weee bit more. :p

So I was walking into a random saloon for the 2nd time.
*SG = Saloon Guy

SG : So how do you want to cut it?

Me: Short. Um.. Somewhere here. *Points at neck*

SG : Really? That's very short!

Me : Yes.

SG : *Starts cutting the ends of my hair*

Me thinking wtf i want short.

SG : You sure you want it short? Once you've cut it there's no turning back you know.

Me : Yes, I know.

SG : *Continues cutting at end*

Me still thinking wtf I'm not cutting bald for Christ sake.

SG : You sure ah? I cut short wan ah.

Me : Yes.
*Tries my best to prevent myself from taking the scissors and shoving it up his nose.*

And finally he starts cutting. End of conversation. End of story.

Physics! If u ask me what I think of Physics in Jan, I'd say I prefer Sejarah to Physics. But if u ask me the same question today, I still prefer Sejarah to Physics. Chemistry paper 1 wasn't too bad. No one expected paper 3 though. When everyone got the paper, people started coughing. Now that isn't a good sign, right?? I mean, we haven't opened the papers yet and there they are, coughing all over the place. Proves that the papers are just plain EBBBIILLL!! *imagines Lung Wang's evil cackle*

Actually everyone just sorta looked through the thin sheet of white paper and saw "Latex" (which induced coughing).

Night before Chemistry (19/11), I was bored and didn't know what to read up on anymore. So I Google-ed "chemistry tips spm 2008". Lo and behold a whole list of stuff appeared on my screen. I just clicked whole lotta stuff and browsed through tips people spotted and noted them.

I compared the actual exam questions with the tips and I have to give THIS SITE some credit. The guy spotted most of the questions and was the only one who had spotted Group 1 Reactivity with water for experiment.

The Story of Bug.

Thinkin' it was a butterfly, Maple catches it.

Only then did she realise that she had actually caught the flu bug instead.

Maple's Nose got very upset when the bug decided to settle down. Nose went berserk. Nose threw tantrums and started to run all over the place. Catch me if you can! Nose said.

Eyes is not impressed at all. Neither is Head. Flu teaches Throat a new skill: Cough!. Legs decides that walking is taking up too much energy.

Maple tries to shoo the bug away but in vain. It wouldn't budge at all.

Maple decides that if she just let it be, it would finally get bored, hop off, and disappear for good.

But as Add Maths and Moral drew closer by the second, Maple decides that there is no time to waste. She eats whatever pills and medicine her parents gave and drinks lots of water.

Having done everything she could, Maple now prays that she will be healthy enough to sit through her exams.

Last week I noticed that there weren't any bread spreads left for breakfast the next day. So I decided to make egg mayo. ( Yum! )

I started boiling some eggums and my bro picked a small onion for me.

We were supposed to make this mayo thing TOGETHER and my bro came up with a fair solution. Fair to him at least.

He said, "You boil the eggs, chop the onions then peel the eggs later. I'll cut the eggs."

So while he watches his idol Bear Grylls pull some stunt on Discovery Channel, I peeled the onion and started menghiris-ing.

My eldest sis called from Australia. I chopped the onions with one hand while chatting on the phone. I wasn't wearing my specs and I believed no crap of onions making people cry. ( Imagine that! Boohoo! )

After 5 minutes, I felt tears welling up in my eyes and in no time tears were streaming down my face. My eyes were bloody pain and I can barely open them. I told my sis what was happening and she told me how to treat it.

At first I was like WHAATT?? You serious??? Then I just did as she told and stuck my head in the freezer. ( LoL!) In 5 seconds the pain ceased and the tears had stopped. Unbelievable!

Thinking back, it was pretty cool! You guys should try it sometime.. xPPP

There was this bugger hanging around my house for the past few months.

We at home are getting a bit worried. She just stares at us. She sneaked into our house compound and looked through the windows, monitoring our daily activities. It was creepy. We didn't have the heart to ask her to leave, she looked so frail, skinny.

*She stares!*

The dogs barked and snarled viciously. The noise bothers her. So she only comes in when the dogs are fast asleep.

I have tried approaching her. I wanted to understand her. But she have already fled the moment I stepped out of the house.

My dad said she was getting bolder day by day. It was true. And I finally found out why.

Whenever no one was looking, I would swipe some food off the table and give it to her. She wouldn't take it from me though, no. So I'd just put it outside, and when I'm back in she would rush and grab whatever food I'd put out.

I caught my brother doing the same thing.

I caught my DAD doing the same thing.

I believe my maid had done the same thing, too.

They, like me, thought they were the only ones doing so.

No wonder she was getting bolder.

Today was no different. But she didn't fear me as much as she did. As usual, I picked up something from the kitchen and left it outside. I was able to get closer now, though she still kept her distance. I finally managed to take her picture from afar.

Reading yinthong's mamee monster post, it sure brought back fond (& unfond) memories.

A packet only costs like what, 20 sen? 30? And it's not that bad. (: In primary school, this definitely will appear on Children Day. You either crush it into bits and eatin it bit by bit or you just eat it as it is. It also comes with a packet of MSG.

Mind you, very salty.

But hey! We're kids! *Were kids*! Who cares if its salty? As long as we get to tear up those paper packets and empty its entire guts into the snack.

I still find the tv ad pretty funny. Its got a funny jingle that kinda stick in your brain forever & somewhere in the ad the blue dude will wobble his fat, blue, shiny, round butt in your face.

I have to admit, its some ad. The whole purpose of ads is to make sure people remember it for a long time and this ad sure achieved that.

Once my bro and I decided to do some experiment.

Maggi mee have noodles & packet of thingy.
Mamee also have noodles & packet of thingy.

To cook Maggi, cook in hot water + pour packet thingy = nice noodle soup!
So to cook Mamee, we pour hot water + pour packet thingy = .......?........

Seriously I don't know how to describe it. The taste. Its one of a kind. Simply unique.
Indescribable.

But I can tell you one thing I've concluded from the experiment.
1. Maggi mee will always be my all time favourite noodle soup.
2. You can cook mamee for a 'Truth or Dare' game when the person chooses Dare. (;

Went shopping at the nearby Watsons today. Yes very pathetic but its somewhat better than what I've been doing for the past few days eg. rotting at home, staring blankly at books etc. Have not been to school for a very long time. I thinks its been weeks since I last saw some ppl in class.. Hmm..

Anyways, I'm going crazy facing de evil white walls at home. Mum say we can paint our rooms any colour we want the coming holidays when exams are gone with the winds. Yay! I like rainbow~ x3

Ooo.. And KFC's opening in Taman Desa~ Yay! No more waiting for an hour for soggy fries from McD. Seriously, their delivery service sux like shyt. The place they're opening at doesn't seem to have good feng hsui thou. It's strategic alright with schools nearby, lots of shoppies and all, but there are many who opened there before it (KFC) and they never last long. Nah.. Just bad management. KFC is here to stay! Yeee haww~

Well, I don't prefer one over the the other. But one thing I do prefer is that my food is served fresh & unsoggy.
And if I crave fastfood, I expect it to be FAST.

Seeing the front page of The Star yesterday, I only have one word: Sad.

This year is not a good year for many all over the world, no?

There's the Myanmar monk protest with their 100% increase in fuel price,
the free Burma thing,
March 8 in Malaysia,
oppositions triumph in Taiwan elections (*sigh* if only...),
a string of earthquakes in China with the worst in Sichuan, Beijing Olympics,
Thailand's politics, Malaysia's politics, US's politics (go Obama! =x),
global crude oil plunging to as low as 78$ per barrel (not like the price here is going down anyway, so no yay),
China's tainted milk (so long, white rabbit *sobz*),
US's market crisis which affected the whole world (有福同享,有难同当?)
and who knows what I missed.

And it's not as if anyone can guarantee nothing else is going to happen in the next three months before we say ciao/さようなら/goodbye/tata/selamat tinggal/永别/au revoir/안녕/adiós/adeus to 2008.

My mum follows the market very closely everyday on Astro news channels. VERY. She left the share market years ago (thank god!) and she comments on how sad everyone and those news anchors look when they talk about the market nowadays. There was a moment where the market went up by 96 after a fall of 500 and you can already see them smiling.

Of course, it fell again afterward and we have sour anchors once again.

17 years of being a lefty, I'm like the black sheep of the lefty's community.

I don't see myself being extra creative, having extra music sense, being extra intelligent or extra whatever-ness lefties are usually associated to.

To be honest I'm not exactly a lefty too! :) I guess that makes me a blacker than black sheep then.

I only write and eat using my left hand, other than that I'm pretty much the same as right-handed people. Sports would be strictly right hand only. Badminton basketball bowling ping pong you name it. I use a scissors with my right hand. I wear my watch on the left.

But then again, most of the time all we do is write and eat.

I remember once during sports practice for red house (go Wira!), we were supposed to try the lontar peluru. As I was about to throw suddenly I heard kai kuan shout in Chinese,

“kum foeng aren’t you left handed? You can throw with your left hand, don’t worry! It’s okay!”

I guess I was too nervous to think at the moment and switched hands. I nearly lost my toes that day.

So instead of being in the minority group of lefties, I’m in the even minor-er group of ambidextrous people. (I think.)

So yay I get to live 4.5 years longer than lefties! :D
